About delivery

When will I receive my order?

If you order before 1pm then you will receive your order next working day by courier between 8am and 6pm. A signature is required on delivery. If you think you may not be in to receive delivery, please specify any special instructions to the courier in the comments/message section of your order i.e. leave with a neighbour. You can also add a message here for your recipient and we will write it on a special gift tag and include it with your order. If no one is available to accept delivery, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of non-delivery we cannot accept liability. The courier will leave a "calling card" at the recipient address and it then becomes the recipient's responsibility to contact the courier company to re-arrange a suitable re-delivery time and date.

If you know your recipient is not at home during working hours, we do recommend that we deliver to a business address. Orders placed after 1pm are dispatched the next day for customers to receive the day after. Orders placed before 1pm on a Friday will be delivered the following Monday between 8am and 6pm. To ensure a Saturday delivery, you must place your order before 1pm on Friday afternoon. Orders placed after 1pm on a Friday will be delivered on the following Tuesday.

We only use freshly made sweets that have been carefully prepared and packaged at our factory for online orders. The contents of each order is then placed in bubble-wrapped double-layered cartons to ensure your sweets reach you in optimum condition.

We offer a next working day door to door courier service in the UK. Charges for orders weighing up to 24kg in England, Wales and most parts of Scotland is only £5.50, Northern Ireland is £14.99 and the Republic of Ireland is £12.50.

Global Express

We are also offering a special discounted rate to our US and Canadian customers. There is a minimum charge of £16 for the first kg and then £1.25 for each additional kg up to a limit of 24kg.

Returns Policy

We want you to be totally satisfied with the order you receive from Ambala Foods. If your goods are damaged in any way or you have received an incorrect order, please contact us by phone  (+ 44 (0) 1707 397 050) or e-mail (info@ambalafoods.com) where we will be happy to credit the appropriate amount. We can also arrange for the goods to be picked up by our couriers at no extra cost to you. If your goods do not arrive at the specified time, you are entitled to refuse delivery for which you will be refunded.
